We know when you're planning a wedding, there can be so many decisions to make, it's easy to feel like you're being pulled in a hundred directions at once. We want the decision of hiring your photographer to be the easiest one you make. When it comes to telling your love story, you want someone who can anticipate each moment: from nerves as you get ready, that first moment that you see each other, to mom's tears in the front row, and a shared “I can't believe we're actually married” glance during the first dance; We live for these moments. As a Essex wedding photographer. We've built our business around relationships with our couples. And In order to anticipate the moments unique to each wedding, we really try to get to know our couples to better tailor our efforts to their individual needs. We'll likely meet several times before your wedding to chat and plan. And we're always down to grab some food or drinks and just hang out. Our experience enables us to ask questions other photographers may not think of that help us to understand who you are and how best to capture your love on camera. Getting your photos taken doesn't always come naturally, I don't like being on that side of the camera either! But knowing you have a friend behind the camera makes all the difference. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and we hope to celebrate it with you!
This smaller package is for the more intimate wedding where only 3 hours of coverage will be required. Photos will be taken from just before the service/ceremony up until the wedding Breakfast with as many images I can capture in between. I recommend this package for those that may be on a tighter budget or those smaller weddings where you require minimal fuss but do not wish to compromise on quality.
Prices Start from £700
Starting at the beginning of your wedding day story – Typically, this is where photos start from your home, your parent’s home or wedding venue itself in the bridal suite. This section of photos is all about the finer details including your dress, shoes, flowers, hair and makeup & maybe that bottle of bubbles that the bridesmaids have opened! These photos take on average an hour 1 to 2 hours depending on time and location of your service/ceremony.
Then, it’s getting over to the ‘Groom’ and the ‘Groomsmen’. It has been known that I retrieved them from the pub to start their photos! I normally meet them at the wedding venue/church. Most Grooms are pretty nervous, so I try and lighten the moment and have some fun and break the nerves and get them all to relax. This section of photos consists of individual Groom photos, combined Best Man/Men and any ushers you may have in your wedding party along with the classic wedding rings photos and memorable shots of the Groom and parent/s pre ceremony. Once these photos have been taken, it’s a quick dash inside whilst we all get prepared for the arrival of the Bride and Bridal Party.
Photos of the service all depend on the venue. Most churches will let me stand at the alter as long as I am still and do not use the flash function. It has been known that I have had to stand at the back of the venue but in my experience, most wedding venues allow me to take photos whilst in full view of the ceremony.
After the ceremony, I will take photos of you posing to sign the register with your witnesses and photos of you both walking down the aisle for the first time as a married couple! At this point, I like to give you the opportunity to have a breather of around 15 minutes to soak up all the atmosphere, let your guests congratulate you both and for you to take it all in. It is true when you hear people say that your wedding day goes so fast, you need to enjoy it!
The post ceremony photo section is split into 3 parts and I try to space them out as best I can, starting with the group shots. I normally ask you to provide me with a list of group shots that you would like. i.e. Uncles & Aunties, Friends, Siblings, etc. The second set will be the shots of your immediate wedding party with your bridesmaids, users and best man/men and then thirdly, the important photos of you both around your chosen wedding venue with chosen back drops and fun filled photos where we will get some natural shots of you both that you will want framed on your wall! All these sets of photos will generally be taken before you sit down and have your wedding breakfast. The final memorable wedding photos will be the classic ‘wedding confetti’ shot and some posed photos of you both cutting your wedding cake.
After your Big Day, my average turn around for your full edit is between 1 to 2 weeks and I will then upload all your photos to my website where a full online gallery will be waiting for you. I will need a list of family and guests you will want to have access to these using their email addresses. This will give them rights to download the photos of their choice. A wedding social media slide show is available upon request.
